A wonderful long, sandy beach that is great for swimming, sandcastle building and kite flying.

The hill down is a little steep so if you are not a confident driver this beach is best approached from the Red Wharf Bay end.

There is a cafe, car parking and public lavatories (please note they close around 6pm).

The tides are extreme on this beach so you may be walking for a while to splash in the sea if the tide is out. Also take care when the tide is turning as it comes in / goes out surprisingly quickly.
