The Welsh Mountain Zoo is also known as the National Zoo of Wales and is the oldest zoo in Wales. Initially set up as a small family business in 1963 by the Jackson family it has continued to thrive with conservation at its heart. While enjoying watching the animals there is a critical message about wildlife, the environment and the impact mankind has on the world embedded in each message.
